Curriculum

  • Integrated Indian Culture as Indian Fine arts, Indian Performing Arts, Indian Languages, etc., is a part & parcel of our education system.
  • Concepts in Gurukul are taught in case based, situation based, life problem based, social issue based, national growth based, proposition based system of perspective building approaches demonstrating the need for different sciences.
  • The Gurukul maintains its magazine in which the primary contribution is by students.
  • Multi-year cascade programmes are undertaken
  • Course on the lives and works of great personalities, spiritual and social, with live project work on exploring the lives of unknown but great personalities through primary exploration and secondary reviews funded by the organization.
  • Short term internship programme sending students to various industries, hospitals, etc, across the country with the specific purpose of identifying, nurturing, organizing and developing a student body centered on selfless work and character development.
  • Courses on survival situations – corruption, etc and reaction seminars by students on it.
  • Review- Discussion- Application Model on vital spiritual concepts like Truth, Purity, Fear, Renunciation, Service, Love, Goal, etc.
  • Review- Discussion- Application Model on vital social, national, international, humanitarian concepts like Nation, People, System, Society, Class, Religion, Struggle, Movement, Livelihood, Health, Education, etc.
  • Project work in Slums, villages, etc.
  • Observance of Blind day, Deaf day, Mute day, Lame day with the intention of developing control over senses, sharpening them and understanding those specially privileged.
  • Extra-Curricular Activities provide substantial physical development via Sports such as Badminton, Basketball, Carrom Board, Chess, Cricket, Hockey, Karate, Squash, Tennis, Volleyball, etc.,
  • Co-Curricular Activities focus on the development of soft skills and teamwork through activities.
  • Indian Fine Arts such as Veena, Mridangam, Carnatic Vocal, Bharatanatyam, Flute, Violin, Hindustani, Sitar, Guitar, Cookery, Home Science, Gardening, Farming etc.
  • Supplementing the theoretical approach to learning, a system of Project based learning which includes projects, assignments, small time tasks, & interactive teaching techniques is introduced.
